You want to see results? You want to be happy with how you look and feel? Well you have to be willing to work for it. And don’t think it comes easy, because it doesn’t. It’s going to be a lot of work, and there will be times when you are going to want to give up, but just know you can’t. Just know that it will all be worth it one day. There are no cheats or shortcuts in a healthy lifestyle. If you want something, you have to work for it. That means eating clean, and training as hard as you can.
People think these kinds of things come easy, but they don’t. Everyone who looks the way they do has worked their asses off for it. There are no magic ingredients, or miracle foods or programs that will automatically transform you, and if you think that there is, you are mistaken.
Do not let anyone trick you into thinking you can achieve your goals through an easy shortcut. Companies market products such as “special K”, diet pops, granola bars, and even crackers that they will promote as healthy school lunches for little ones. These are NOT healthy. They add so many additives and sugars to them just for the taste and appearance and they will not aid in weight loss.
I am telling you the straight and honest truth. If you want to see improvements in your mind and your body, you WILL have to work for it. And yes I understand you may not want to go to the gym, or say no to dessert, but if you keep thinking that way, you will keep being miserable, and continue to complain about how you look or how out of shape you are.
Rather than complaining, do something about it. Yes, it will be hard to drag your butt to the gym or to go for a run in the morning, and yes it will be tough passing on going out for chocolate cake with your friends, but just remember, it’s worth it. You may have to work hard now, but when you reach a point in your life when you are happy both inside and outside, and you can smile without faking it, than you know you have reached the goal you have wanted, and can continue to live that way in pure bliss.
