Do you want to know WHY I gave up junk food, and would much rather spend my time eating fruit? Because it’s good for me. And not just that, but it tastes great! Why eat something that will only bring your body down, for a temporary satisfaction, when you can indulge in as much fruit as you’d like, and only benefit from it.
This doesn’t go for just fruit. There are so many healthy sweets that taste delicious, and will benefit your body! Ex. Chocolate Oat Muffins, Banana ice cream, Raw desserts, Dates and peanut butter, pineapple, grapes, blueberries, even almonds and cashews taste great to snack on when you’re hungry.
Personally, I love chocolate, and on a rare occasion, I sometimes miss my Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, or Mars Bars, but then I remember, I’m better off without them. Just think as junk food as an ex that you are so glad to have out of your life. Yes, you may miss them from time to time, but you sure aren’t going to go begging for them back now are you?
No! You are a strong person, who is so much better off without junk food. If you are craving something sweet, put some all natural peanut butter on an apple or banana. Or have some pitted dates or dried cranberries. If you go out into the world looking for sweets, you will discover so much more than you thought. Nature has created natural sweets in these foods from the ground that are so good for us and that nourish our bodies as well as giving us enjoyment.
Now I don’t know about you, but oatmeal, peanut butter and banana sounds way better than processed chocolate with tons of additives and artificial flavours.
