Who here loves Neapolitan ice cream? Well, I am a huge fan of it. Anytime i see it available somewhere, i will grab it. That is until i started getting an upset stomach from dairy. So i thought, how can i enjoy ice cream, without having dairy? The answer was not that hard. I simply whipped together this vegan Neapolitan smoothie, so that i could still indulge in the perfect three flavour combo, and not feel sick afterwards. I highly recommend this to vegans, people who are lactose intolerant, or just anyone who wants to try a healthy smoothie.
2. When you are ready, you may begin the first layer – chocolate. Put 2 frozen bananas in your blender. Add 1 tbsp. of peanut butter, and 2 tsp. of cacao powder. Blend it together till it’s thick and creamy, pour it into a glass or bowl and stick it in the freezer while you make the other layers.
3. For layer 2, vanilla, put 2 frozen bananas in your blender. Add 1 tbsp. of peanut butter, and 1 tsp. of vanilla extract. Put this layer in the freezer while you do your last one.
4. For the top and final layer, strawberry, add 2 frozen bananas, and 10 frozen strawberries.
5. Take out all of your layers, and pour them in: chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry!
